Turkey Short Term Residence Permit

In order to apply for this permit, the necessary documents, which vary according to the purpose of your stay, must be provided in the first place. Short-term leave can be granted for up to 1 year and can be extended. You can apply for this residence permit for your travels for the following purposes:

  • People who own real estate in Turkey

Turkey Long Term Residence Permit

Foreign passport holders who have stayed in Turkey for 8 years with valid short-term residence permits have been granted the right to reside in Turkey with a long-term residence permit. There are a number of conditions and documents that must be present in the application. Necessary conditions:

  • Having resided in Turkey for at least 8 years without interruption with previous residence permits.
  • Not having received social assistance in the last 3 years while living in Turkey

Turkey Family Residence Permit

Persons residing in Turkey with a Turkish residence permit can apply for a family residence permit with their spouse and children. This permit is granted for a period of 3 years and can be extended. Certain conditions must be met for this permit.

The application documents of a citizen of the Republic of Turkey or a foreign citizen residing in Turkey must be prepared correctly and completely, and their income must be sufficient to support the family. Must have health insurance valid for the whole family, must have met the accommodation conditions for the family, must not have committed a crime, must be registered in the address registration system and must have stayed in Turkey for at least 1 year with any residence permit.
